I'm Devyn, a photographer based in Nova Scotia, documenting elopements, intimate weddings, engagements, proposals, maternity, and branding.

My goal has never been to create perfect photos.

It's to create a space where you feel comfortable enough to be yourselves, because I believe that's where the most honest moments happen.

Whether you're promising forever, celebrating a new chapter, or simply documenting life as it is right now, I'm here to document it with honesty, care, and intention.

What’s it like to work with me

Working with me feels easy.

I'll gently guide you when you need it, but mostly I'm there to help you relax, feel seen, and soak in the moment. There's no pressure to perform, pose perfectly, or be anything other than yourself.

I'll fluff your dress, hold your bouquet, calm the nerves, and quietly step back when the moments matter most.

My goal is simple: to create a space where you feel comfortable enough to be yourselves.

And here’s the truth:
I don't just want you to love your photos.I want you to love the way you felt while they were being taken.

Because years from now, I don't want you to just remember what your day looked like. I want you to remember exactly how it felt.

Whether it's your wedding day, a branding session, a family milestone, or a surprise proposal, my hope is that you leave feeling seen, celebrated, and completely yourself.

The Process (aka: What Happens After You Hit “Send”)

  • Reach out with your vision (even if it’s just “help, I don’t know what I want yet”). I’ll guide you through what’s possible, including timelines, location ideas, and how to make it feel like you.

  • Once we pick the perfect date and package, I’ll send over your contract + invoice. Then it’s official! Your date is not secured without your deposit and contract.

  • This is where the magic starts. I’ll send over all the planning tools you need - whether it’s location inspo, outfit tips, or help coordinating your surprise proposal. We’ll chat as much (or as little) as you need to feel ready.

  • We meet up, you live your moment, and I capture it all - gently, honestly, and with care. From quiet glances to big laughs, nothing forced. Just real connection.

  • Your edited images will land in your inbox faster than you expect (I’m quick like that!). You'll get a private online gallery, ready to share, download, and cry happy tears over. You will have 3 months to download all your photos for safe keepings.
